Throughout my career, I have learned to believe in the power of AMAZING. “Amazing” is a word that has come to characterize both my business and my life. It is a word that evokes meaning in not only the term itself but also the letters within it. For me, AMAZING is an acronym that helps realize dreams. It helps you unleash your passions and truest self.
Activate Your Passion: This is arguably the most important facet in the acronym. There’s a saying that goes, “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” Find your passion and have it be at the core of everything you do. Everyone is equipped with some kind of burning desire and that burning desire should be represented throughout every aspect of our lives.
Make It Happen: Nothing happens without action. Your passion can’t fully realize itself without action. If you have a dream, do something every day that gets you closer to that compound effect, even if it’s small.
Accelerate Your Dreams: This is about really taking action and being strategic about your dreams. What kinds of decisions align and connect with your dream? It’s about being objective – recognize where you are and focus on taking the right steps.
Zap Negativity: No dream is reached without positivity and hope. Ask yourself how you’re cutting through all of the negativity and being the bigger person in rising above it.
Innovate Constantly: Question everything. Question why things are done a certain way and then see how it can be changed to be more efficient, how it can be streamlined to be better. Be curious and think outside the box.
Nurture Relationships: Everything you do will be through, with and for people. Look into your relationships and analyze how people are connected on a deeper level. Create beautiful relationships with everyone’s best interest in mind. If you serve magic, wonderful things can happen.
Generate Value: Constantly think about creating an impact in others’ lives, think about ways you can elevate the people around you and bring opportunities to them as well. Something that is significant for someone else doesn’t necessarily take a huge amount of effort. It’s the ability to do something that is unexpected but makes an impact.
